Give Your eyes a Rest

It is apt for all of us, who spend long hours at our desks, looking at the computer screen. I Thought I'd share it with you. 20-20-20

Step I :-

After every 20 minutes of looking into the computer screen, turn your head and try to look at any object placed at least 20 feet away. This changes the focal length of your eyes, a must-do for the tired eyes.

Step II :-

Try and blink your eyes for 20 times in succession, to moisten them.

Step III :-

Time permitting of course, one should walk 20 paces after every 20 minutes of sitting in one particular posture. Helps blood circulation for the entire body.

They say that your eyes are the mirror of your soul, so do take care of them, they are priceless......

What to wear

By: Ed Biado | Manila Standard

Women, just like men, come in all shapes and sizes. While some women refuse to explore fashion because of their physical insecurities, others face those demons head-on and get their sexy on when going out at night. Many of these attempts are triumphant, but there are those who fail and end up looking trashy than vampy. The trick to looking sexy is so much more than feeling sexy. It’s putting the right stops when needed. But how do you really know when that is? It all boils down to taste level, but just to get you started, here are a few tips to go from slutty to sultry on night-outs.

1. The first thing to do is to objectively assess your body. If you have a perfect hourglass figure in a size four, you can pretty much wear anything. Women with smaller bosoms actually have the advantage of wearing more revealing tops—low-dipping necklines, scoops down to the navel and tube tops. Those that go beyond a C-cup should opt for something more demure—scoop necks, off-shoulder tops. Showing off your assets in a very blatant manner zooms the focus on those assets; and that’s a little shady.

2. Ladies with a square-ish body type can go for belts. These are the must-have accessories of the year and you can make good use of them. It may be a little uncomfortable, but cinch your waist with a thick belt (maybe even an obi or corset-type belt) to give the illusion of shapeliness.

3. Now, women who are naturally blessed with small waists will find thick belts absolutely of no use. The waist is one area worth flaunting. But the problem lies in overshowing it. If you’re wearing a cropped top, don’t pair it with a micro miniskirt. It’s just too much. Choose leggings or capris instead.

4. Peek-a-boo dresses and tops are okay as long as there’s still room for imagination. Skankily-clad torsos should be left for the striptease and not cocktails out in the city. If you’re going backless, let that be the only body part you’re showing. Those tiny backless, almost frontless mini dresses are not dresses at all. They’re a wardrobe malfunction!

5. The school-girl look still works, for some reason. A white button-down top and short pleated check skirt tandem is a perennial favorite. Avoid overexposure by wearing them with a pair of knee-high boots or an equally school-girly mini cardigan or hoodie.

6. If there’s something anybody can show off, it’s the legs. Voluptuous ladies who are conscious about revealing their midsection can show skin in their lower area. Stop complaining that your thighs are too fat. A pair of four-inch stilettos can make them look fabulous.

7. Miniskirts are risky if you have a Jennifer Lopez behind. You’ll always run the risk of them riding up and giving a peepshow. Go for minis that go halfway down your thighs and choose an A-line cut, as opposed to a form-fitting one. That way, it wouldn’t be too tight and the eyes will not be fixated that much on that area.

8. If you’re wearing pants (only maybe because your top is just a bandeau), the way to conceal your bootyliciousness is to wear a dark pair that’s slightly flared at the hem. Skinny pants only make your backside more prominent and the effect is a little offensive. Flared pants help distribute the volume and gives the illusion of proportionality.

9. Still on the pants issue, women with the other problem (that is, a barely there booty) can wear skinny jeans, but not the really low-rise ones. Choose denims with small back pockets and a relatively higher waistline so as to not cut off your pseudo-existing behind. Also, choose undergarments that give you a subtle lift to enhance the effect further.

10. Finally, accessorize. Thicker girls should select chunkier accessories and slimmer girls should pick daintier ones. But never (as in never ever) over-accessorize. Doing so only gives the impression of cheapness or makes you look like a Christmas tree—and neither is a good thing. Flower accents are big this season, so if you’re wearing something really revealing, festoon it with a big flower and attention is immediately diverted to the flower and not your tacky ensemble!
